As a participant of the 2020 Sō Percussion Summer Institute, I’m pleased that my earlier 2012 piece “Contact” was revised for this festival, with a video installation of the work created for the workshop. The festival with 19 new work premieres begins at 4pm and ends at 9pm, with “Contact” being featured on the 6pm set. “Contact” was recorded by Hunter Gross, Elijah Shina, and Zach Wilson.
